Job Overview:

Warehouse Team Leader manages and controls Food & Beverage and Retail cost of sale.

Responsible for warehouse operations from receipt to storing and distribution of Retail, Technical Services and Food & Beverage items and Consumables.

This position also ensures that all policies and processes are being followed in relation to the company core process resulting to smooth and efficient operation within the department.

Job Scope:

Conduct Colleague appraisals to monitor their performance against set objectives and initiate action
Conduct disciplinary measure in a fair and consistent manner in order to address shortfall and areas for improvement and implements changes when appropriate
Conduct communication briefings within the department
Conduct spot checks through the entire inventory categories and oversee daily spoilage, transfer and department charge out from inventory
Conduct cross training to Colleague within and outside the department
Conduct verification on invoices posted through Eatec, Oracle and Maximo before submitting to Accounts Payable for payment processing
Ensure optimum utilization of resources
Ensure that all paperwork related to shipping, receiving and distribution are well managed
Ensure that policies, procedures and performance standards are being adhere to within the department
Ensure all the HSE and ADFCA rules and procedures are followed by Food & Beverage and Warehouse Colleagues
Ensure regular stock take are undertaken and variances are investigated and appropriate action taken to prevent re-occurrence
Ensure that all related cost information for department and concern outlets are provided
Ensure levels are set and maintained in the system in accurate manner
Ensure that the Warehouse area is clean and tidy at all times and has limited access to unauthorized Colleagues
Ensure warehouse activities are well delegated and appropriate tasks are given to obtain maximum efficiency
Ensure that the invoice variances and credit note are coordinated with supplier when products are returned for a refund and when invoice amount has been overstated
Ensure that Retail, Food & Beverage, Technical Services and Consumables items are well handled properly and smoothly from one central location.

Job Essential:

Higher Secondary education or equivalent
3 years' experience in Warehouse related operational role
Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to work under pressure
Proactive decision making and problem solving abilities
Leadership and teamwork skills

Job Desirables:

Bachelor's Degree in a Logistics or Warehouse related field
1 year UAE experience
Proficient in computer systems i.e. MS Office
Ability to prepare and maintain accurate records
Forklifting experience
Familiarity with HACCP requirements.
