Job Summary:

The Cashier will be responsible for processing payments, itemizing and totaling customer purchases at Autoplus.

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY AND ACTIVITIES

Customer Service: Greet customers when entering or leaving the establishment.
Payments: Receive payments via cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits.
Invoices: Prepare and issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
Counting Till: Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure accuracy and sufficient change.
Compliance: Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following procedures, rules, and regulations.
Pricing: Establish or identify prices of goods and services, and tabulate bills using calculators, cash registers, or optical price scanners.
Customer Complaints: Resolve customer complaints, provide guidance, and offer relevant information.
Policies & Procedures: Maintain checkout operations by adhering to policies and reporting needed changes.
Ad-hoc Tasks: Perform additional tasks as required by the Accounts Manager.

Qualifications and Skills:

Diploma or equivalent.
2–3 years of cashier or front-desk experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
Familiarity with POS systems, billing software, and MS Office.
Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Honest, reliable, and professional demeanor.
