The company is currently seeking a highly experienced Billing Specialist to manage and optimize complex billing operations for RIA (Registered Investment Advisor) and TAMP (Turnkey Asset Management Platform) clients.

In this role, you will take full ownership of the end-to-end billing lifecycle for high-value, multi-entity advisory portfolios. You will serve as a subject matter expert in billing operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all financial processes while supporting scalable growth across the organization.

This position requires a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional who can design efficient billing workflows, troubleshoot complex financial discrepancies, and ensure seamless execution of billing systems in collaboration with internal teams and external advisors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end billing cycles for complex RIA and TAMP client portfolios with high accuracy and compliance

• Act as the primary expert for Orion Advisor Tech or similar billing platforms, including configuration and optimization of fee structures

• Design and implement scalable billing workflows, automation systems, and reconciliation processes

• Lead onboarding and migration of large advisory firms into billing systems

• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across billing platforms and financial systems

• Identify and resolve billing discrepancies and serve as escalation point for complex financial issues

• Collaborate with Finance, Compliance, and Operations teams to ensure adherence to SEC and industry regulations

• Continuously evaluate and improve billing systems, tools, and operational processes

• Build reporting frameworks to improve visibility into billing performance and revenue flows

• Support audit processes and ensure regulatory readiness across all billing operations

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in RIA or TAMP billing operations in a high-volume or multi-firm environment

• Deep hands-on experience with Orion Advisor Tech or similar platforms (Addepar, Black Diamond, etc.)

• Strong expertise in Excel/Google Sheets including advanced formulas and data analysis tools

• Solid understanding of SEC billing regulations and compliance requirements

• Experience managing complex billing structures, fee calculations, and reconciliation processes

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills

• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional and client-facing interactions

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced remote work environment

• High attention to detail and strong sense of ownership and accountability

• Proven experience handling large-scale financial operations or system migrations
