Position Summary
We have an immediate opening for a full-time Locksmith / Structures Technician supporting facility maintenance and infrastructure operations at a U.S. military installation in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

This position is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and modification of structural components, facility systems, locking mechanisms, and temporary or permanent facilities supporting mission-critical operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong construction and locksmithing experience with the ability to perform a wide range of maintenance, repair, fabrication, and facility support tasks in a deployed environment.

Employment Type: TEMPORARY Contract Position (1099)

(75-90-Day Assignment, with ability to be extended)

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair doors, locks, roofing systems, flooring systems, foundations, gutter systems, and structural components.
Perform locksmith services including installation, repair, and maintenance of mechanical door locks, padlocks, and cipher lock systems.
Conduct metal fabrication, welding, cutting, corrosion control, pavement painting, striping, and concrete form work.
Install, repair, and maintain protective coatings, sealants, adhesives, epoxies, paints, and fencing systems.
Remodel, refurbish, or demolish existing facilities as required.
Perform major interior facility repairs including acoustic ceiling systems, drywall installation and repair, and finish work.
Execute carpentry-related repairs and installations including:

Complete door replacements
Door hardware, hinges, handles, and closers
Flooring and subfloor repairs
Interior facility repairs
Drywall replacement, finishing, sanding, and painting
Roofing repairs and replacement

Perform masonry work including:

Concrete masonry unit (CMU) installation and repair
Brick construction and repair
Tile installation and finishing
Concrete form construction

Perform sheet metal fabrication and repair including:

HVAC ductwork
Metal patchwork and fabrication
Roll-up door installation and repair

Perform welding operations including:

Welding and fabrication
Oxy-acetylene cutting
Metal repair and modification

Support installation and repair of tension fabric shelter systems and temporary structures.
Utilize key management and locksmith software systems including Keystone or equivalent platforms.
Maintain compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and contract requirements.
Support facility operations in austere and mission-critical environments.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum three (3) years of construction, facilities maintenance, or related trade experience.
Minimum two (2) years of professional locksmith experience.
Professional Locksmith Certification required.
Registered Locksmith with demonstrated technical expertise.
Experience utilizing Keystone or similar key management software.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
Proven problem-solving abilities and sound decision-making judgment.
Valid driver's license and ability to maintain driving privileges.
Valid & current passport with ability to travel internationally.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Previous overseas government contracting experience preferred.

Location & Compensation

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
Overseas deployment supporting military installation operations
$8,000 - $10,000 p/month (1099)

Housing, Meals and Travel are 100% covered
75-90 day Contract
