As an Office Admin & Accountant you will contribute to the efficient and effective workings of the office by executing daily tasks with a strong attention to detail. This role will utilize strong accounting knowledge, time management skills and effective problem solving to ensure success.

Responsibilities:

Assists in management of day-to-day accounting operations
Invoicing & Timely payment follow up
VAT filing
Accounts Receivable
Customer Service
Processing Vendor Payments
Assists in performing general ledger accounting functions as needed and/or assigned for the purpose of ensuring that department functions are completed in an accurate and timely manner
Expense Booking, Provision & Accruals
Handle petty cash transactions for the company.
Prepare company / Projects reconciliation
Assisting with month-end, quarter-end and year-end tasks
Filing and Records Retention
Adhoc work / Payroll
Ensure Office management/resources are well managed
Time Management
Coordinate with PRO office to process employment visa for new joinees
Management of day-to-day office operations
General management of the office to ensure that we provide our staff with the optimum experience and the environment maintains a professional work culture
Co ordinate with management and staff for any operational issues.

Other requirements:

Bachelor’s or Higher Degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance (BCom/MCom/MBA Finance)
1-2 years relevant work experience in AR, AP & GL (Preferably in the UAE)
Strong MS Excel skills and Quick book
Strong understanding of IFRS, International Accounting Standards, VAT laws and its implementation in UAE, will be an added advantage.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
A hard-working team player
