Our company is looking for a Sales Representative to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Telesales and Tender pricing;
  • Achieve sales budgets on a consistent basis;
  • Establish relationships internally with all departments that support sales;
  • Ability to accurately plan/ manage customer and company inventory on a monthly basis;
  • Cold call on prospective clients;
  • Submission of planners and reports as requested by Sales Manager;
  • Working as part of a wider sales team to achieve company objectives;
  • Establish and progress relationships with manufacturer and distributor partners;
  • Escalating serious issues and prioritizing these without any panic;
  • Responding to all client queries via calls/text/emails;
  • Present, promote and sell products to existing and prospective customers;
  • Arranging for delivery of orders;
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships;
  • Continuously improve through feedback;
  • Dealing with shipping requests in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Communication skills;
  • Clear credit record, with no criminal record;
  • Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Experience on SAP would be an advantage;
  • Fluent in English (Afrikaans is advantageous);
  • Must be able to build rapport and have strong customer service kills;
  • Well presented and spoken;
  • Male/Female;
  • Competitive yet able to work in a team;
  • Interpersonal skills;
  • Strong product knowledge, client relation, and presentation skills;
  • Must be a lateral thinker and solution provider;
  • Generating leads;
  • Preferred: Experience in the logistics industries;
  • Most important is customer obsession;
  • Experience in a position that deals directly with customers (front-line).
