Senior Financial Manager Job Description Template

Responsibilities:
- Reporting on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis of management and annual financial statements;
- Management of statutory related matters, SARS returns and compliance;
- Managing the financial team and efficient allocation of financial resources;
- Management and review of accounts payable and accounts receivable recons monthly;
- Responsible for month end reporting;
- Manage the preparation of financial statements and general ledger;
- Cash flow forecasting and management;
- Accountable for the accuracy and timely completion of audits on annual financial statements;

- Managing a team of 10;

Requirements:
- 5 – 10 years experience at senior financial management level;
- Industry experience will be advantageous;
- Strategic and analytical thinking;
- High degree of oral and written communication skills;
- Problem-solving skills;
- CA(SA);
- Experience in Cash flows, run valuations, assess new acquisitions, selling of property assets;
- Reporting and able to present new potential deals in a meaningful and proper way;
- Oversee Collections;
- Must have commercial property experience;
- Must be a qualified CA (SA);
- Thorough and detailed orientate.
