Marketing Assistant I coordinates and assists with the marketing activities of a product or business line. Uses simple marketing strategies and media (e.g., print, digital, customer events and trade shows) to launch and position products and services. Being a Marketing Assistant I may require a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Marketing Assistant I works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. May require 0-1 year of general work experience.

Our company is looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform such other functions as may be assigned;
  • Provide general administrative and sales support to Sales and Marketing Team;
  • Assist in the creation of sales/marketing related documents or materials;
  • sourcing images;
  • Communicate directly with clients and encourage trusting relationships;
  • collating and organising student and alumni profile materials;
  • Ad Hoc Duties as required;
  • Assist in setting up marketing presentations for various functions as directed by supervisor;

  • Maintain and organize social media accounts;

  • Communicates daily with the Directors of the company.

Requirements:

  • Communication skills;
  • Proven experience as a marketing assistant;
  • Must be computer literate – proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint & MS Outlook;
  • An ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines;
  • Creative, imaginative, and can think out of the box;
  • Outstanding written and communication skills in English;
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, marketing computer software and online applications (CRM tools, Online analytics, Google Adwords, etc.);
  • Facebook Ads;
  • Strong organizational skills;
  • Candidate must be a graduate of Bachelor’s/ College Degree in Business Studies major in Marketing or Office Management;
  • Excellent English communication skills;
  • Computer Literacy / Basic Computer Skills;
  • Willing to do fieldwork;
  • Knowledgeable in all social media channels;
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
