Our company is looking for a finance executive to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for optimising and enhancing effective financial monitoring and driving continues improvements in the finance function;
  • Drive, quantify and track margin enhancement and savings projects and evaluate risk and opportunities on margin, challenging inefficiencies;
  • Responsible for compiling and filing of the annual financial statements;
  • IFRS compliance;
  • Assist with pricing decisions;
  • Provide leadership to the Company’s Finance and Profit strategy, to optimise the company’s financial performance and strategic position;
  • Take overall control of the company’s accounting function;
  • Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reporting and variance analysis;
  • Analysing the business and financials;
  • To check the bank reconciliation;
  • Management accounting packs;
  • Form a close working relationship with the GM/MD/CEO, other Senior Executives and Non-Executives;
  • Ensure that company Financial and IT systems are robust, compliant and support current activities and future growth;
  • Handling full set of accounts, prepare accounts analysis, final year end accounts for auditors;
  • Budgets.

Requirements:

  • Advanced excel knowledge;
  • 6 – 10 years’ experience;
  • 5 Year relevant experience in ICT Environment, Retail and/or Manufacturing;
  • Industry Type: Manufacturing;
  • Pleasant personality and able to interact all level of people;
  • Good accounting knowledge;
  • Industry Type: Engineering;
  • Preferably with 2-3 years relevant working experience;
  • Candidate must possess Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, LCCI or equivalent;
  • Team player, well-organised and has a strong sense of responsibility and integrity;
  • Position Level: Senior Executive;
  • Position Level: Junior Executive;
  • Good command of English & Malay (spoken and written);
  • Must be willing to work independently with minimum supervision;
  • Results oriented, strong follow up and good negotiation skills.
