Waiter/ess Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Waiter/ess to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation;
- Ensure Food and Beverage orders are of a consistently good standard and delivered in a timely manor;
- Serve Alcoholic/non-Alcoholic beverages in conjunction with licensing/liquor regulations for residents and non-residents;
- Ensure mis-en-place is well stocked at all floor stations;
- Manage guest queries in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner;
- Ensure knowledge of menu and all products;
- Follow correct reporting procedures if faced with issues;
- Practice Hilton Grooming standards including uniform dress code, cleanliness and personal hygiene.
Requirements:
- Have customer service at the heart of everything you do;
- Fluent English speaking, reading & writing;
- Willing to commit to a 4 month contract at sea, working 7 days per week;
- Able to work well under pressure and handle multiple situations at the same time;
- Great attitude, willingness to learn and good presentation;
- Requires knowledge of all aspects of good quality restaurant service;
- Must be able and willing to meet Seabourn’s highly reputable standards of services, including learning guests names;
- Excellent grooming standards;
- Good communication skills;
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations;
- Positive attitude;
- Ability to work on your own or in teams;
