Barista

Barista greets customers, identifies their needs, and answers questions about menu items. Prepares and serves hot and cold beverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, tea, chai, and similar beverages. Being a Barista may prepare and serve limited food items. Records sales, operates a cash register, and follows cash handling policies as required. Additionally, Barista may assist with store set-up, clean-up, and stocking of merchandise. May require a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Barista works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. May require 0-1 year of general work experience.

  • Requisition all necessary supplies in line with hotel procedures and manage liquor inventory;
  • Take action to solve guest problems/complaints using appropriate service recovery guidelines;
  • Ensure that all beverages are properly secured before, during, and at close of shift.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years working experience is required for this position;
  • Minimum of 1 years working experience is required for this position;
  • Willing to be trained and can work well with others, can work in a fast-paced and busy working environment;
  • Experience in using POS machine and cash handling is an advantage;
  • At least 1-year experience as Barista;
  • must be committed to customer satisfaction and service excellence;
  • Experience in F&B an advantage;
  • A graduate of HRM, Food Service Management, HRS and any related course;
  • must have experience in food and beverage preparation or customer service preferred;
  • Specialization: Others;
  • Minimum of 3 years working experience is required for this position;
  • Strictly no tattoo;
  • Preferably knowledgeable in F&B operations;
  • Willing to work shifting;
  • must have highschool diploma or equivalent.
