Shift Supervisor Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Shift Supervisor to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor product quality;
- Collating information and drawing up KPI’s;
- Monitor machine performance;
- Performance management of the team to achieve KPI targets;
- Conduct disciplinary enquiries and grievances in line with agreements and Company procedures;
- Ensure a safe and healthy work culture and environment;
- Motivating and leading a team to achieve shift KPI’s;
- Correcting any deviations from standard operating conditions (machine settings and process cycle times);
- Monitor product cycle times;
- Management of staff including the planning of hours and taking appropriate action relating to absenteeism;
- Reporting deviations from standard operating conditions to Manufacturing Manager.
Requirements:
- Age should not exceed ████████████ ;
- World Class Manufacturing methodologies and technologies mindset ( advantageous );
- Self motivated – results orientated;
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems ISO 9001 ( advantageous );
- Minimum of 1 years working experience is required for this position;
- Understanding of Production Managerial principles;
- University Degree;
- Matric;
- Good computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point);
- Injection Moulding knowledge and working experience ( essential );
- Average appearance; is neat;
- Ability to execute tasks and plan successfully;
- Candidates must have at least Bachelor’s / College Degree;
- Recognised and/ or related tertiary qualification ( essential);
- At least 5 to 7 years working experience in a plastics environment.
