Our company is looking for a Program Editor (Digital TV) to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the quality and progress of audio and vision engineering and editing;
  • Re-orders and tweaks content to ensure the logical sequencing and smoot running of video;
  • Digitally cuts files to determine the sequence of the film and identifies what is usable;
  • Ensure zero to minimal on-air discrepancies on assigned edited programming materials;
  • Assembles all raw footage with camera shots either recorded or transferred onto video tape in preparation for inputting into the computer;
  • Edit, sure or re-purpose programming material in accordance to broadcast standards;
  • Ensures the quality checking of edited titles for both pushed and dubout masters;
  • Deliver gapping requirements or segmenting of bodies for movie/series, taking into consideration TRT requirements and creative flow of the narrative.

Requirements:

  • Can meet deadlines and work efficiently under pressure;
  • With high attention to detail, patience and organizational skills;
  • Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Media, IT, Film or Digital/ Multimedia Arts;
  • Must be willing to work long hours and take constructive criticisms positively;
  • Knowledge in basic principles of sound, music, graphic arts, color, layouting is a must;
  • Digitally cuts files to determine the sequence of the film and identifies what is usable;
  • Ensure zero to minimal on-air discrepancies on assigned edited programming materials;
