Our company is looking for a Warehouse & Logistics Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- To take overall responsibility for the warehouse systems and processes, thereby ensuring overall data integrity;
- To ensure effective communication of relevant information to all key management to support effective decision making for the business;
- Oversee the movement, distribution and storage of materials;
- Responsible for the full client warehouse;
- Driving and implementing cost initiatives and strategic projects that will bring about improved warehousing and distribution operations;
- Oversee the warehouse, inventory control, material handling, transportation and planning thereof;
- Developing, implementing and improving operational procedures to ensure increased efficiencies and reduced cost;
- Managing and assisting with the receiving and dispatch of finished goods;
- To manage the costs of the warehouse by providing input into the budget and managing expenditure accordingly on a daily basis.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years previous experience as a Logistics Warehouse Manager (non-negotiable);
- Must be skilled in Logistics/Distribution Management;
- Matric;
- Relevant Qualification in Logistics, Warehouse Management, Inventory Management or Supply Chain Management;
- Must have Winfreight experience;
- Can deal with people at all levels;
- Can start immediately;
- At least ten years experience in warehouse and logistics, supply chain, fleet management, inventory management;
- Very organized and keen to details;
- Computer skills. In addition to email, instant messaging, spreadsheets, and word processing apps, they are familiar with logistics software;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
- Excelleng communication, negotiation and presentation skills;
- Strong analytical and planning skills;
- Experience in E-commerce in the Philippines set;
- Graduate of any four-year course.
