Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain Way Better teams;
- Ensure optimal utilisation of staff;
- Liaise and communicate with management in all departments;
- Manage usage variance eg. AE, AM, AF;
- Manage quality, cost and the functionality of equipment;
- Compile and submit production reports;
- Ensure housekeeping and good manufacturing practice;
- Conduct meetings and ensure effective communication to all;
- Manage strike rate;
- Apply consistent discipline;
- Train and develop staff;
- Execute planning and scheduling;
- Manage production staff;
- Prepare daily and monthly production reports;
- Monitor and control production costs.
Requirements:
- Matric with a minimum of C for Mathematics;
- Production Management Diploma;
- Excellent time management skills;
- Proven technical manufacturing experience essential;
- Strong numeracy and organisational skills;
- Intermediate computer skills;
- Basic HR / IR knowledge;
- Grade 12;
- Ability to function well under pressure;
- Willingness to work occasional irregular hours;
- Processing background will be advantageous;
- Computer literacy;
- Relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous;
- Drivers Licence;
- Tertiary qualification will be advantageous.
