Finance Accountant & Treasury Analyst Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Finance Accountant & Treasury Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Submission of weekly forecast on Treasury workbench;
- Support Finance Management on all statutory submissions;
- Support Internal and External Audits;
- Prepare monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations timely on Trintech;
- Support Country Management/Departmental teams on any business requests, directed by Finance Management;
- Daily Royalty process/Payments/reconciliations for South Africa and Zambia;
- Daily book entry of bank accounts (inc Royalties);
- Support SOX requirements/testing/submissions if implemented;
- Account Payable back up (in case of absence);
- Submission of weekly cash flows to DCR Team;
- Responsible for South Africa/Botswana/Swaziland/Lesotho/Namibia and Zambia Treasury activities;
- Processing of all payments for South Africa and Zambia on Oracle;
- Processing of all foreign payments on Oracle and the bank;
- Timely recording of all AP invoices.
Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Excellent interpersonal skills;
- PC Skills – Excel Advanced (high level);
- Minimum 2 years ’ experience at analyst level within finance;
- BCom Accounting Degree;
- Quick decision maker;
- Knowledge of local corporate and income taxes, local GAAP and US GAAP;
- Able to handle a number of different tasks, prioritizing;
- Matric/ Gr 12 Certificate;
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Organizational and planning skills;
- International/ Multinational experience/ exposure;
- Minimum of 2 years General Accounting experience.
