Our company is looking for a Assurance – Audit, Manager/Senior Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ad hoc assistance with Audit technical queries/projects;
  • The establishment and facilitation of building working relationships within the African network;
  • Assist with the monitoring and reporting of the CIR programme for South market area and Africa as a whole;
  • Support the core team with the development and maintenance of Aura libraries;
  • Ensure consistency of assurance methodology messages through regular interaction with the assurance methodology network;
  • Identify and manage local ATP initiatives with the sole responsibility of implementation, roll out and reporting;
  • Liaise with key contacts with the East and West market areas;
  • Navigate the complexities of global teams and engagements;
  • Initiate open and honest coaching conversations at all levels;
  • Take action to ensure everyone has a voice, inviting opinion from all;
  • Build trust with teams and stakeholders through open and honest conversation;
  • Move easily between big picture thinking and managing relevant detail;
  • Establish the root causes of issues and tackle them, rather than just the symptoms;
  • Develop specialised expertise in one or more areas;
  • Advise stakeholders on relevant technical issues for their business area.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 18 months post articles experience as an Audit engagement manager;
  • Navigate the complexities of global teams and engagements;
  • Strong presentation skills will be beneficial;
  • Uphold the firm’s code of ethics and business conduct;
  • CA(SA);
  • Well-developed writing and verbal skills;
  • Initiate open and honest coaching conversations at all levels;
  • Should be confident in their communication of information;
  • Develop specialised expertise in one or more areas;
  • Move easily between big picture thinking and managing relevant detail;
  • Take action to ensure everyone has a voice, inviting opinion from all;
  • Build trust with teams and stakeholders through open and honest conversation;
  • Establish the root causes of issues and tackle them, rather than just the symptoms;
  • Anticipate stakeholder needs, and develop and discuss potential solutions, even before the stakeholder realises they are required;
