Our company is looking for a Accounting and Tax Consultant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide input to engineers developing business systems;
- Business, tax and accounting consulting;
- Preparation and Review of payroll;
- Business Development;
- Preparation and Review of financial statements;
- Implementation / evaluation of internal controls;
- Client interaction and relations;
- Performing independent reviews;
- Preparation and Review of management accounts;
- Preparation and Review of tax returns.
Requirements:
- BComm or BAcc degree;
- Good interpersonal skills;
- Preferably residing in Stellenbosch;
- Must be fluent in English and Afrikaans;
- Must be willing to work overtime to meet client deadlines;
- Excellent financial, tax and corporate legislation knowledge & experience;
- Able to work to tight deadlines;
- Qualified by experience in a practice environment;
- SAIPA / SAICA articles;
- Bright, energetic, likes technology;
- MS Excel and MS Word literacy required at advanced level.
