Our company is looking for a Sr. Experience Researcher to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with the team to produce wireframe concepts and storyboards to communicate concepts and plans how to validate them;
  • c) Conducting data synthesis of primary and secondary qualitative and (sometimes) quantitative data;
  • a) Develops a vision for the product, application, or service, based on the research;
  • d) Collaboratively generating hypotheses and opportunities clearly tied to the data;
  • Fields, documents, and ensures resolution of client/vendor questions, requests and concerns via appropriate projekt202 team members;
  • a) Clearly articulating the research goals for the discovery effort;
  • Designs conceptual models that communicate findings and presents to multiple stakeholders, using projekt202 templates;
  • b) Conducting primary qualitative ethnographic research in the field, observing users;
  • c) Develops and refines research methods and processes;
  • Conducts validation and usability studies with users of prototypes, designs, and code;
  • e) Creating actionable outputs for the client and internal teams;
  • d) Acts as an advocate for user experience research and its integration with design;
  • Evaluates individual resources on projekt202 team to ensure focus on correct priorities;
  • Contributes to the Experience Strategy & Insight (ESI) practice;
  • Identifies and proactively raises risks when deliverables are in jeopardy of not being completed in on time or of appropriate quality.

Requirements:

  • Experience with quantitative research methods and analysis a plus;
  • Abreast of UX design best practices, trends and techniques;
  • Familiarity with design tools, such as InDesign and Illustrator;
  • Skilled in client interactions; previous experience working in a consulting environment is preferred;
  • Ability to develop strategies for experiences, based on inputs;
  • Solid organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle a plus;
  • Ability to travel for research activities and client meetings;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills;
  • Problem solver (not just good at pointing them out) and negotiator;
  • Proven ability to work as an effective team member and ability to motivate others.
