SEO Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a SEO Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide recommendations and execute strategies for content development in coordination with SEO goals – general and keyword specific;
- Monitor and administer web analytics dashboards, reports and key reporting tools, and point out key areas of importance in accordance client goals;
- Create & maintain back link plan for all target websites;
- Good analytical and communication skills;
- Provide SEO analysis and recommendations in coordination with elements and structure of websites and web pages;
- Monitor, track, and report on natural search metrics, including trend analysis;
- Promote both onsite and offsite activities that build ranking, profile and traffic;
- At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position;
- Administer search engine programs (XML sitemaps, shopping feeds, webmaster tools) for purposes of diagnostic reporting on client projects;
- Can manage and create weekly work plan;
- Perform keyword research;
- Can formulate SEO strategies;
- Online reputation management (ORM).
Requirements:
- Experienced in organic search and content;
- Experience in the technical side of things including web integration;
- 6+ years’ experience in Digital Marketing & SEO;
- Take action oriented decisions based upon analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgment and enforce their realization in order to accomplish high output;
- Experience working with PR, Web Dev and Social as it relates to SEO;
- Incorporate a strong customer focus in your activities where knowing your customer is key;
- Experience working in a startup that has scaled quickly;
- Full understanding of the Search Engine Marketing;
- Have managed a team of content writers, link builders, and social media marketers;
- Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges;
- High performer, competitive and almost always wins and never gives up;
- Be a real leader. Have people management experience. Act as a role model for your staff;
- Have a thorough knowledge of search ranking factors and critical updates;
- Strong skills in quantifying results of keyword ranking.
