ui/ux designer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a ui/ux designer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets;
- Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders;
- Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images;
- Testing UI;
- Illustrate design ideas using user experience journeys, storyboards, process flows and sitemaps;
- Gather and evaluate user requirements/designs in collaboration with product managers and engineers;
- Investigating user experience design requirements for our suite of digital assets;
- Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop;
- Conceptualising original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks;
- Create wireframes and prototypes for experiences that will delight users;
- Portfolio of design projects;
- Identify what a delightful user experience looks like;
- Develop user interfaces that are elegantly crafted and feel magical;
- Learn about user needs, business objectives and technical feasibility;
- Test your ideas and iterate until they’re excellent.
Requirements:
- Good time-management skills;
- Portfolio of design projects;
- Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders;
- Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies;
- Ability to use Wireframe tools;
- Detail oriented;
- Curiosity, self-starter;
- Note: this is an entry level position;
- Full-Time position(s) available;
- Building apps that respond to the natural human thought process;
- A team player but can work independently too;
- CSS;
- At least 4 year(s) of working experience in UX/UI design is required;
- Experience with caching frameworks such as Redis, Memcached, etc;
- 4+ years experience in design, preferably with a creative or marketing organization.
