About the Role: The MMEA legal team is one of five market units within Ericsson Group Function Legal Affairs and Compliance. The primary objective of the MMEA legal team is to provide legal support to the MMEA region in accordance with GFLA’s mission. This is an exciting moment for our region. As the Head of Legal CU Gulf, you’ll lead all legal matters within your assigned Territory and the Business Development Mission Critical & Enterprise practice group. You will report to the Regional General Counsel - head of legal MMEA and lead a team of 2 attorneys.
What You’ll Do:
- Champion Business Success: Be a trusted advisor to the business, providing strategic and tactical solutions that drive things forward and close deals.
- Lead with Integrity: Act with integrity, being a role model for the business, demonstrating sound judgment and a commitment to protecting company value and reputation.
- Embrace Collaboration: Build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, fostering cohesion across the MMEA region and globally.
- Drive Innovation: Identify and mitigate legal and business risks, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, while proactively seeking opportunities to improve processes.
- Develop and Lead: Manage and develop a high‑performing team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth, championing diversity and perspective.
- Customer-Facing: Play a crucial role in managing customer relationships, negotiating, and closing deals across the assigned territory.
What You’ll Bring:
- 10+ years of experience in a corporate in‑house setting or a leading law firm, with a legal background relevant to the tech/telecommunications industry.
- Strong business acumen and strategic mindset, capable of thinking critically and providing sound legal advice that supports business objectives.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, able to build trust and rapport with stakeholders at all levels.
- Growth mindset, passionate and eager to contribute to the evolution of Ericsson’s legal function.
- Commitment to excellence, results‑oriented, with strong work ethic and dedication to delivering high‑quality legal services.
