Description:

Unitek General Contracting LLC is currently hiring an experienced Accountant to join its team in Abu Dhabi. The company is seeking a qualified accounting professional with a solid background in the General Contracting or Construction industry within the UAE.

This role is ideal for candidates who have strong expertise in handling accounting operations related to construction projects, vendor management, payroll processing, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The selected candidate will play an important role in supporting the company’s financial operations while ensuring compliance with UAE accounting standards and procedures.

Candidates who are available for immediate joining or have a short notice period will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records

• Handle vendor payments, invoicing, reconciliations, and expense tracking

• Prepare financial statements, reports, and accounting documentation

• Monitor accounts payable and receivable processes

• Assist with payroll processing and employee-related financial records

• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting practices and company policies

• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal departments regarding financial matters

• Maintain proper documentation for audits and reporting requirements

• Support finance management with budgeting and financial analysis activities

Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience within the UAE

• Previous experience in General Contracting or Construction companies is mandatory

• Strong understanding of UAE accounting procedures and financial reporting

• Experience handling vendor payments, reconciliations, payroll, and accounting operations

• UAE Driving License will be considered an advantage

• Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice periods are preferred

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

• Good communication and teamwork abilities
