Research Scientist III - Data Analyst

Responsibilities
- Analyze emergency response data to determine trends and develop solutions
- Develop preliminary findings, written reports, and data visualizations to support fire safety research
- Contribute to the development of reusable data products and standardized data models
- Apply engineering technology and systems engineering concepts to research tasks
- Plan, design, and complete tests to validate results
- Present research results internally and externally
Requirements
- Expertise in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and hypothesis testing
- Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, and modern data analysis libraries
- Experience designing interactive dashboards and executive-level presentations
- Demonstrated experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Snowflake, or Dash
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field with 8+ years of experience, or a Master\'s with 4+ years, or a PhD with 2+ years
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to serve as lead author on scientific reports and papers
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary research teams
