Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Technician to join a leading industrial manufacturing facility in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment to ensure smooth and safe plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment, motors, transformers, MCC panels, switchgear, and control systems.

✅ Diagnose and repair electrical faults in production machinery, conveyor systems, pumps, motors, and utility equipment.

✅ Install, test, commission, and maintain electrical systems and equipment.

✅ Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.

✅ Conduct routine inspections and testing of electrical installations to ensure reliability and compliance.

✅ Ensure compliance with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and electrical safety standards.

✅ Record maintenance activities and equipment history accurately.

✅ Support plant shutdowns, breakdown maintenance, and major overhauls.

✅ Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.

✅ Maintain a safe and clean working environment at all times.

Requirements

✔ Diploma or Trade Certificate in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology.

✔ Minimum 2–4 years of experience as an Electrical Technician in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

✔ Hands-on experience with LV/MV electrical systems, motors, drives (VFD/VSD), and industrial control circuits.

✔ Ability to troubleshoot electrical and automation-related faults.

✔ Knowledge of industrial electrical safety procedures and standards.

✔ Ability to read and understand technical drawings and documentation.

✔ Basic English communication skills.

✔ Willingness to work rotating shifts when required.

Preferred Qualifications

✔ Experience in paper manufacturing, process plants, or heavy industrial facilities.

✔ Familiarity with PLC-controlled systems and fault diagnosis.

✔ UAE experience will be an added advantage.
