Job Description
We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Land Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive land surveys, analyze complex surveying data, and produce accurate technical documentation that supports critical infrastructure and construction projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional precision, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and compliance with UAE regulations.
- Conduct thorough land surveys and site assessments using advanced surveying equipment, GPS/GNSS systems, and drone technology to gather precise field data
- Analyze survey data and prepare detailed technical reports, site plans, and documentation in compliance with UAE construction standards and local regulations
- Utilize AutoCAD, GIS software, and surveying data analysis tools to create accurate site maps, technical drawings, and project models
- Coordinate with civil engineers, project managers, and contractors to ensure surveying data aligns with project specifications and design requirements
- Perform quality control checks on all surveying work to maintain precision, accuracy, and organizational standards
- Maintain organized and transparent records of all survey measurements, data, and project documentation for easy retrieval and reference
- Stay current with advancements in surveying technology and industry best practices, including emerging drone surveying applications
- Ensure compliance with local surveying regulations, safety protocols, and environmental requirements specific to Abu Dhabi and the UAE
- Communicate survey findings and technical recommendations clearly to stakeholders and project teams
- Demonstrate resilience and problem-solving capabilities when addressing challenging field conditions or complex surveying scenarios
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in land surveying with a proven track record of accuracy and project delivery
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, GIS software, and surveying data analysis tools
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and construction methodologies
- Demonstrated expertise in site analysis, measurement accuracy, and technical documentation
- Solid knowledge of GPS/GNSS systems and familiarity with drone surveying applications
- Professional surveying license or certification recognized in the UAE (preferred)
- Comprehensive understanding of UAE construction standards, surveying regulations, and local compliance requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent organizational and time management capabilities with attention to detail
- Physical capability to perform fieldwork in various environmental conditions
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make decisive decisions in the field
- Previous experience with Abu Dhabi Municipality or local surveying approvals is preferred
