Technician – Electrical (Paper Manufacturing Industry)

Salary: AED 4,000/month + Company Benefits
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Technician to join the Maintenance Department of a leading paper manufacturing company in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical equipment to ensure uninterrupted production and maximum equipment reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment in paper manufacturing lines.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults in paper machines, winders, rewinders, and related production equipment.
- Maintain and service electric motors, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), control panels, and PLC-based automation systems.
- Minimize equipment downtime through effective troubleshooting and timely maintenance.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and P&IDs.
- Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new machinery and system upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and EHS standards.
- Coordinate with production and mechanical maintenance teams to optimize plant performance.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports, and service documentation.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Electrical Technician in the paper manufacturing industry .
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, PLCs, VFDs, motors, control panels, and automation.
- Excellent troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and technical documentation.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: AED 4,000 per month
