Ride across rolling dunes and conquer the mountain peak of Jebel Jais.* To establish and maintain effective stewarding department systems and methods of operation to support all other colleagues in the hotel* To supervise all Stewarding employees, facilities, operation and costs.* To coordinate with hotel colleagues in maintaining par stocks and supplies, and approving storeroom requisitions.* To ensure cleanliness of all facilities and equipment.* To schedule preventative maintenance work and coordinate with Engineering.* To ensure that all staff are acting in accordance with Health and Safety standards, using and storing chemicals appropriately, and using all required safety materials in the safe performance of their duties.* To play an active and leading role in the energy-conservation and environmental policies and practices of the hotelQualifications:* Leadership and team management.* Good communication and interpersonal skills.* Planning and organizing work schedules.* Problem-solving and decision-making.* Time management and attention to detail.* Basic computer skills for reports, inventory, and scheduling.* Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.* Reliable, disciplined, and customer-service oriented.* Able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.* Recognized food safety certifications.* Comprehensive knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, including HACCP principles.* Proficiency in cleaning, sanitization, and kitchen hygiene procedures.* Skilled in the safe operation, handling, and basic maintenance of kitchen equipment.* Experience in inventory control, chemical handling, storage, and stock management.* Sound understanding of occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations and safe workplace practices. #J-18808-Ljbffr
