Lead Aircraft Mechanic - EFTA

Job Purpose

A first of its kind training facility in Dubai the Emirates Flight Training Academy EFTA is located in Dubai South Dubai World Central DWC With its unique facilities and resources Emirates Flight Training Academy offers the opportunity to learn to fly in the most advanced flight training academy in the world Our fully operational flight operations centre is dedicated to Emirates Flight Training Academy cadets only making flight training part of everyday life at the Academy This means you will have the opportunity to gain a complete operational experience in one holistic environment.As a Lead Aircraft Mechanic, you will ensure the highest possible standards in terms of safety and maintenance on EFTA fleet.In this role, you will;

• Ensure a safe working environment and proper housekeeping is kept to the highest standards.
• Identify spares and tools requirements to maintain the EFTA fleet.
• Ensure the aircrafts are maintained according to the applicable manuals.
• Through preventive maintenance, confirm the fleet is maintained in the most efficient and productive manner to achieve the scheduled operational requirements.
• Work with supervision on modifications and service bulletins applicable to the EFTA fleet.

Qualification

To be considered for this role, you must meet the below;

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering.
• A working knowledge of soft skills needed to maintain the EFTA fleet.
• Previous apprenticeship in an airline is a minimum.
• Comprehensive knowledge and practical experience of the industry standard procedures and practices
• Involved in the maintenance and associated training requirements.
• Hands‑on experience of practical work on modern aircrafts and systems.
• A good level of communication skill in English, both written and spoken.
