We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Design Engineer holding a Dubai Municipality unlimited license to join our dynamic design engineering team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will lead complex structural design projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards, while delivering innovative and practical engineering solutions in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: - Lead the structural design of large-scale projects, ensuring adherence to Dubai Municipality codes and standards. - Prepare detailed structural engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications. - Review and approve designs from junior engineers and consultants to ensure technical accuracy and quality. - Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, MEP engineers, and contractors to ensure comprehensive project delivery. - Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction integrity and compliance with design specifications. - Stay updated with the latest developments in structural design codes and technologies relevant to Dubai and the UAE. - Mentor and guide junior engineers to enhance their technical skills and professional growth. - Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables effectively to meet client expectations.Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized university. - Valid Dubai Municipality unlimited structural design license is mandatory. - Minimum of 8 years of experience in structural design engineering, preferably within the UAE market. - Strong knowledge of Dubai Municipality codes, local construction regulations, and design standards. - Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, and AutoCAD. - Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and quality. - Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Strong communication skills with fluency in English; Arabic language proficiency is an advantage. - Proactive, self-motivated, and committed to delivering high-quality engineering solutions on time.About the company
