Role Description

The Housekeeping Room Attendant is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, responsible for ensuring guest rooms and common areas are consistently clean, orderly, and inviting. Day-to-day tasks include cleaning and sanitizing rooms, bathrooms, and corridors; changing linens; making beds; replenishing amenities; and reporting maintenance issues. The role also involves handling laundry items, organizing housekeeping carts and storage areas, and following safety and hygiene standards, including the proper use of cleaning equipment and materials. Room Attendants are expected to interact courteously with guests and colleagues, respond to requests promptly, and support a positive, efficient housekeeping operation that aligns with BURJ AL-NAJM GROUP’s quality standards.

Qualifications

Demonstrated housekeeping and room cleaning skills, including experience in maintaining clean, organized rooms and common areas. Ability to perform laundry-related tasks, such as sorting, washing, drying, and handling linens with care. Strong communication and customer service skills to interact professionally with guests, supervisors, and team members. Attention to detail, reliability, and a focus on hygiene and safety in all cleaning activities. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods, and to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed. Previous experience in housekeeping or building cleaning services is preferred but not mandatory. Basic English language skills; additional language abilities are a plus.
