Job Description

We're looking for a detail-oriented and organized IT Support Specialist to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will provide technical support to our organization's end-users, ensuring smooth IT operations and maintaining system reliability. You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues efficiently while maintaining comprehensive documentation and delivering exceptional support to internal stakeholders.

• Provided L1/L2 technical support for hardware, software, network, email, printer, Microsoft 365, and end-user application issues through remote and on-site assistance.
• Managed IT asset lifecycle, including procurement coordination, inventory management, asset allocation, tracking, maintenance, transfers, and disposal.
• Administered user accounts, including onboarding/offboarding, account provisioning, access management, and IT equipment issuance and recovery.
• Installed, configured, and maintained desktops, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, and business applications according to Company IT standards.
• Managed telecommunications services, including employee SIM card provisioning, activation, deactivation, and vendor coordination.
• Managed software licenses, subscriptions, and renewals to ensure the continuous availability of business-critical applications.
• Coordinated with internal IT teams and stakeholders to implement IT solutions and support business initiatives.
• Monitored support requests, prioritized incidents based on business impact, and ensured timely resolution within SLA requirements.
• Supported IT projects, office relocations, infrastructure upgrades, and technology rollouts across the region.
• Assist in implementing IT policies, security standards, and compliance requirements while promoting best practices for end users.
• Coordinated IT procurement activities, including vendor quotations, evaluations, purchase requests, and delivery of hardware, software, and services.

Qualifications

**Required Skills and Experience:**

• 2+ years of hands-on IT support or help desk experience
• Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems
• Proficiency with remote support tools and ticketing systems
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and TCP/IP protocols
• Experience with hardware troubleshooting and software installation
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to document technical issues and resolutions accurately
• Customer service orientation with patience and professionalism

**Preferred Skills and Experience:**

• Experience with Active Directory and user account management
• Knowledge of cloud services and virtualization technologies
• Familiarity with IT security practices and data protection principles
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 or similar productivity suites
• CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Associate, or equivalent IT certification
• Experience supporting mobile devices and peripherals
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems
• Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery procedures
