Consultant, Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician

Responsibilities
- Provide expert emergency medical care to pediatric patients presenting with urgent and life‑threatening conditions.
- Conduct rapid assessment, diagnosis, and initiation of treatment plans in the pediatric emergency department.
- Lead and supervise junior doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals in the emergency setting.
- Develop, implement, and review clinical guidelines and protocols for pediatric emergency care.
- Participate actively in hospital committees and quality improvement programs.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Engage in continuous professional development and foster academic growth in pediatric emergency medicine.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Consultant Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician, preferably within government hospitals or public healthcare facilities
- Strong clinical skills in pediatric emergency assessment and management
- Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork abilities
- Experience in developing and implementing clinical protocols and quality improvement initiatives
- Commitment to professional development and patient‑centered care
