Job Description
Senior Machine Vision Applied Scientist holds executive responsibility for developing and overseeing the organization’s machine vision strategy and its implementation. This role involves leading the development, integration, and optimization of advanced machine vision technologies to enhance the company’s product offerings, operational efficiency, and overall technological capabilities.

Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of a scalable machine vision strategy that aligns with company goals and drives business value.
- Oversee machine vision systems using AI to enhance automation, robotics, and quality assurance.
- Drive innovation in machine vision by staying ahead of advancements and managing strategic partnerships and intellectual property.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of engineers and researchers, fostering innovation and collaboration to align machine vision efforts with business goals.
- Ensure machine vision systems meet regulatory standards through rigorous testing and quality assurance, continuously improving based on performance metrics and feedback.
Skills + Experience
- Education: Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field is required.
- Experience:
- Extensive experience in machine vision, AI, or computer vision, with a proven track record of leading successful machine vision initiatives.
- Extensive experience applying machine vision technologies across industries such as robotics and autonomous systems.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a senior technical role, with a history of managing large teams and driving technological innovation.
