Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Internal Auditor to join our gold and precious metals trading company in Dubai. The role involves reviewing internal controls, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and AML/CFT requirements, and supporting risk management across trading, finance, and operational functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct internal audits across trading, finance, inventory, and compliance functions
- Review and monitor AML/KYC procedures, source of funds, and source of gold documentation
- Ensure compliance with UAE laws, DMCC regulations, and internal policies
- Identify financial, operational, and compliance risks and recommend corrective actions
- Prepare internal audit reports and present findings to management
- Support external audits, bank reviews, and regulatory inspections
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 3–7 years experience in internal audit, compliance, or risk
- Experience in gold trading, commodities, or financial services preferred
- Strong knowledge of AML/CFT frameworks and UAE regulatory requirements
- Professional certifications (CIA, ACCA, CPA, CAMS) are an advantage
- Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills
