Service Delivery Specialist

About the Company
Check is the inventor of embedded payroll, providing API infrastructure that allows partners to build and scale their own payroll businesses. They aim to simplify the complexity of payroll, tax, and compliance for employers of all sizes.
Responsibilities
- Triage and resolve complex partner escalations regarding payroll, tax, compliance, and money movement
- Monitor partner Slack channels and respond with urgency and ownership
- Deliver high-touch service to a concentrated portfolio of large partners
- Analyze escalation trends to uncover root causes and recommend product or process improvements
- Surface key themes, metrics, and risks to leadership to reduce partner friction
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Product, and Engineering to streamline workflows
- Maintain internal and partner-facing documentation to ensure alignment with evolving regulations
Requirements
- 5+ years in operations, service delivery, or support
- Direct experience with payroll and/or tax operations
- Experience in a B2B SaaS or Fintech organization
- Proven ability to operate in high-complexity, fast-moving environments
- Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience using structured data to identify trends
- Familiarity with Slack, Claude Cowork, Notion, and Zendesk
