POSITION SUMMARY

Prepare ingredients for cooking including portioning chopping and storing food. Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables. Weigh measure and mix ingredients. Prepare and cook food according to recipes quality standards presentation standards and food preparation checklist. Prepare cold foods. Operate ovens stoves grills microwaves and fryers. Test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently. Monitor food quality while preparing food. Setup and break down work station. Serve food in proper portions onto proper receptacles. Wash and disinfect kitchen area tables tools knives and equipment. Check and ensure the correctness of the temperature of appliances and food.

OUR EXPECTATIONS FROM THE ROLE:

• Ensure strict adherence to food safety and handling policies.
• Implement product rotation FIFO and Cold Chain compliance.
• Maintain detailed kitchen logs for food safety program compliance.
• Monitor and verify the correctness of appliance and food temperatures using appropriate tools.
• Report any issues with freezer systems promptly to facility management.
• Safely and appropriately use kitchen tools and equipment.
• Engage safety devices before operating any kitchen equipment.
• Prepare and cook food according to standardized recipes and quality standards.
• Monitor food quality throughout preparation using HACCP forms and production charts.
• Ensure personal hygiene is maintained to the highest standards.
• Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) to guarantee the safety of food served to guests.
