Job Summary:

The Packaging Manager is responsible for overseeing the complete packaging operations ensuring efficiency quality compliance cost optimization and adherence to safety standards. This role involves managing packaging design materials processes and team performance while aligning with production and supply chain requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end packaging operations including planning execution and performance monitoring.
  
• Develop and implement packaging strategies to improve efficiency reduce costs and enhance product safety.
  
• Coordinate with production procurement and logistics teams to ensure seamless packaging workflows.
  
• Oversee packaging design and material selection ensuring compliance with product specifications and regulatory standards.
  
• Monitor packaging quality and ensure adherence to international standards and company policies.
  
• Optimize packaging processes to minimize waste and improve sustainability initiatives.
  
• Manage vendor relationships for packaging materials and negotiate cost-effective contracts.
  
• Ensure timely availability of packaging materials to avoid production delays.
  
• Lead and supervise the packaging team including training performance evaluation and workforce planning.
  
• Implement and maintain health safety and environmental (HSE) standards in packaging operations.
  
• Analyze packaging KPIs and prepare reports for management review.
  
• Identify and implement automation or process improvements in packaging lines.
  

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of packaging materials machinery and technologies.
  
• Experience in packaging design testing and quality assurance.
  
• Familiarity with international packaging standards and regulations.
  
• Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office tools.
  
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  
• Cost control and vendor negotiation expertise.
  
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma principles is an advantage.
  
• Good communication and coordination skills.
  

Required Skills:

Qualification: Any Degree / ITI / Diploma Age: 2023 years or 3540 years Must own a two-wheeler with valid driving license Willingness to travel and relocate to other states
