Estimator

As an Estimator, you will be a key member of our team, responsible for providing accurate cost estimations and supporting high-end projects. Your expertise will ensure smooth project coordination and timely deliveries, contributing to our company's success in the architectural ironmongery industry.

Responsibilities

• Review architectural plans, schedules, and tender documents to estimate costs precisely.
• Prepare detailed commercial proposals, including technical submittals and compliance statements.
• Generate ironmongery schedules and master key systems tailored to project requirements.
• Collaborate with sales, procurement, and warehouse teams for efficient project handovers.
• Ensure compliance with regional building codes and fire safety standards.
• Maintain effective communication with clients and consultants throughout the process.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in door hardware and access control.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior estimators when needed.
• Assist in developing estimation strategies and improving internal processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in estimation and project coordination within the architectural ironmongery industry.
• In-depth knowledge of high-end door hardware, master key systems, and access control integration.
• Familiarity with regional building regulations and fire safety standards (BS EN / UL certifications).
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex architectural drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and a systematic approach to estimation and project management.
• Proficiency in using estimation software and MS Office for proposal preparation.
• Effective communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.
• A proactive attitude and a willingness to adapt to industry changes.
