HVAC ENGINEER

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer to join our team for offshore oil and gas projects including drilling rigs and pipeline facilities. The successful candidate will play a key role in the preparation of technical specifications design vendor coordination and supporting construction and commissioning activities related to HVAC systems and mechanical equipment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and review HVAC system specifications datasheets and technical drawings in compliance with project requirements and international standards.
• Perform technical evaluation and review of vendor documents and equipment design packages.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integration of HVAC systems with other engineering components.
• Provide technical support during construction installation and commissioning phases.
• Ensure all designs comply with health safety and environmental regulations and standards.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable international codes and standards (e.g. ASHRAE API ISO IEC).
• Liaise with vendors clients and EPC contractors to resolve design and installation issues.
• Deliver documentation and reports in a timely and accurate manner ensuring quality standards are met.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors Degree (BSc/BE) in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline is required.
• Masters Degree (MSc/MTech) in a relevant engineering field is an advantage.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in HVAC engineering within the offshore oil and gas sector particularly with EPC contractors and/or engineering consultants.
• Strong background in HVAC systems for offshore platforms drilling rigs and pipeline facilities.
• Strong knowledge of international HVAC design codes and standards.
• Experience supporting project execution from design through to commissioning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• High attention to detail and commitment to engineering excellence.
