Commis III Pastry

We are seeking a talented and passionate Commis III - Pastry to join our culinary team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our pastry department you will assist in creating exquisite desserts and pastries that delight our guests and uphold our reputation for culinary excellence.

• Prepare a wide variety of pastries desserts and baked goods according to recipes and standards
• Assist the Pastry Chef in developing new dessert concepts and menu items
• Ensure proper food handling sanitation and safety procedures are followed at all times
• Maintain a clean and organized work station
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and service of desserts
• Monitor and maintain adequate inventory of pastry ingredients and supplies
• Participate in team briefings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge
• Assist in plating and presenting desserts for service
• Support the pastry team during high-volume periods and special events

Qualifications :

• Culinary degree or diploma with a focus on pastry arts
• 2-3 years of experience in a professional pastry kitchen
• Strong knowledge of pastry preparation techniques and baking skills
• Proficiency in creating a variety of desserts and pastries
• Excellent understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Creative mindset with a passion for developing innovative desserts
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Team player with good communication abilities
• Food safety certification
• Knowledge of different pastry styles and techniques
• Understanding of ingredient interactions and baking chemistry
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
