INNOVATION Consultant
Salary: USD 10K per month
Location: Riyadh, KSA (on-site, client-embedded) Engagement: Fixed term 12 months contract | ~6 months, extendable Level: Consultant / Senior Consultant (3+ years of experience)
About the Role:
The Innovation consultant will be embedded within the Innovation Office of a leading KSA bank, supporting the operationalization of its R&D function across four key areas: executive reporting, innovation agenda-setting, market intelligence, and capability building. The consultant will report directly into Bank’s Head of Innovation Office (Deputy CEO -1)
Key Responsibilities:
Design and maintain structured reporting mechanisms for senior and C-level stakeholders (e.g. Innovation SteerCo)
Support setting and alignment of the bank's innovation agenda between IO and business units
Conduct trend scanning and deliver benchmarks, competitive analysis, and global best practices reports on priority topics/themes (e.g. Digital Banking / GenAI, Fintech / BNPL / Embedded Finance)
Contribute to formalizing the Innovation Office's research and planning function
Support knowledge transfer and capability building within the internal innovation team.
Candidate Profile
3+ years in management consulting, in-house strategy function of a bank / fintech / venture capital firm
Strong background in market research, industry analysis, and benchmarking
Understanding of key financial services, technology and Digital trends
Able to produce clear, executive-ready deliverables and operate independently on-site
Arabic speaker strongly preferred
Prior GCC/KSA experience is an advantage
