Overview
Rad is looking for a self-motivated Sales director with a proven track record in sales and knowledge of technology. Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization. Organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches. Must be prepared for occasional travel. Reports to : General Manager – MEA & FSU Location: United Arab Emirates - UAE
Position Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed revenue and booking sales objectives
- Prospect and develop Telecom Service Provider and Critical Infrastructure (Utility, government, transportation) opportunities within the territory
- Prospect and hunt for new opportunities – both directly and via sales channels
- Promote the company’s products and solutions within the assigned region
- Develop sales strategy to identify and pursue opportunities
- Document sales calls and opportunities
- Provide detailed customer feedback for product planning purposes
Requirements
- Must have a proven track record of selling telecommunication products and solutions (L2 Ethernet, TDM technologies) to Service Providers (mainly Vodacom, Liquid, MTN, DFA, SEACOM, Airtel, Vodafone, DUO, Orange, Safaricom, ETISALAT) and Critical Infrastructure (CI) verticals in UAE AND ME
- C-LEVEL engagement capabilities
- Cyber security and communication Distributors and integrators engagements capabilities
- Must have the ability to show proven and current relationship within the addressable market with relevant contacts of Telecom Service Providers and CI.
- Familiarity with MEF3.0 certification and its benefits to prospects
- Selling experience in Middle East countries - an advantage
- Must possess “hunting” capabilities for new account generation
- Established industry contacts and strong rolodex of customers in the region
- Consistent top performance within previous sales positions
- Technical understanding of the telecom networking space
- Minimum bachelor’s degree or extensive demonstrated experience; MBA a plus
- Must be passionate about sales and have an entrepreneurial ability to execute a business plan
- Demonstrated capability to deliver against aggressive goals
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Possess integrity, self-motivation, and professionalism to collaborate well with others
- Experience in working remotely for a global corporate; working with an Israeli corporate – an advantage
