Senior Analyst, Business Process (Maintenance)

JOB PURPOSE

The jobholder is responsible to provide with specializedexpertisein the areas of business analysis and processes support for allthe functionsystems; including SAP and Non-SAP applications, to ensure achieving the desired system automation forBorouge’splants.

This role includes; providing thefirst-linesupportfor computerized maintenance management system (SAP), asset performance management systems, content management solutions, planning and scheduling systems, other custom applications and interfaces to support Maintenance for allsystem users, contribute and coordinate theapplications’projects for process automation until fully functioning, report and develop the creation and update of performance matrices and report’ generating, and contribute to the implementation for the Policies and Procedures.

Job Specific Accountabilities

Process Automation & Projects

• Conduct studies and initiate actions what would support the automation of the function processes. And provide and prepare economic feasibility and comprehensive testing studies to support the financial and technical viability of both SAP and non-SAP systems and provides recommendations asappropriate.
• Studyandanalyzethe requirements of users from variousfunctionalareas to evaluate the required updatesconsideringthe existing features ofthefunction.
• Plan, prioritize,organize,and recommend the approved projects’ list in line with thefunctionbusinessplan, and align the project plans,timing,and milestones with the Information Technology to ensuretimelylaunch of the updates in SAP and other system without any delay.
• Supervise and control the new implementation of approved related projects untilcompletionphase and users’satisfaction.Andmonitorthe implementation of new SAP projects, to ensure the adaptation of such projects tothe company’sscope, specifications, and priorities.
• Contribute and develop for a newprojectthe project charter to define theobjectives,allocatebudget and assign in site / out site resources.

Process Integration & Optimization

• Assess the need for incorporating any changes in theprocesses, study the implications of changes or alterations to the modules in the function in relation to their impact on other and relatedsystemsprocessesin theCompanies.
• Participate andcontributetothemajor ITprojects which related to company strategy such as MasterdateDatamanagement,segregation of duties(SoD),and governance,risk & competence(GRC)andparticipatein security level and disaster recovery.
• Supervise,monitor,and test the process and systemupdate’srequirements to meet the criteria in System Test.
• Manage theapplicationsaccess, users’ authorities, and other user access to different function modules and systems to ensure that the systems are meeting the informationrequirements andsupport the future business plans forthe function.

BusinessProcess& UserSupport

• Train andcoach,the system users ona regularbasis, to ensure their capabilities for the best usage of the recent or all system features.
• Control and track function problems during and after the implementation and provide solutions to solve these problems.

Business Process Management

• Carry out and control in investigation studies aimed at developing newfunctions.
• Investigate the market/ industryfor a new application whichhelpsenhance and develop our company function andto meetour new requirements andtargets.
• Review and approve procedures and related manuals for both SAP and non-SAP applications. Ensures that these are properly implemented and reviews continuously to enhance their benefits. Includesestablishingperiodic back-up procedures.
• Identifyproblems and opportunities for improvement with existing information systems, as well aspossible solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS,EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

• University degree in Management Information Systems, or any related discipline
• Fluency in English Language; written and oral

Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills

• Minimum of 5 - 8 years of total experience; including at least 3 years of experience as Business Information Systems Specialist, or IT System Analyst.
• Minimum of 3 - 6 years of the experience in Technical for Petrochemicals Oil & Gas Companies
• Experiencein computerized maintenance management systems
• Skilled in Policies and Procedures, Delegation of Authority (DOA), and Process Flowcharts.
• Knowledge of SAP Workflow,ABAP,and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) is anadvantage.
• Understanding of the Respective Business Processes and Applications.
• Sound knowledge in developing and delivering training and awareness sessions.
• Excellent problem solving anda prominent levelof analytical skills.
• Proven organizational, record-keeping and time management skills.
• Build andmaintaineffective working relationships withother.
• Knowledge of IT related technologies, solutions, and best practices.
• Knowledge of Project Management is an advantage.
• Exposure to work as Business Analyst in IT Companies.
