Therapeutic Area Medical Sr Mgr

Amgen seeks a senior medical manager to serve as the primary medical contact for assigned therapeutic products in the Dubai region. The role involves developing and executing patient-focused medical strategies, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and ethical standards while advancing the company's value proposition.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute patient-focused medical strategies aligned with product and brand strategies
- Lead external relationships with healthcare professionals, opinion leaders, payers, and medical societies
- Synthesize medical insights and provide strategic input on regulatory, reimbursement, and promotional matters
- Oversee medical evidence generation programs and scientific engagement strategy development
- Manage advisory boards, investigator meetings, and clinical trial conduct in partnership with relevant teams
Requirements
- Doctorate degree in relevant scientific or medical field
- Minimum 5 years of medical affairs or related experience
- Strategic medical leadership and science-driven decision-making capability
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and healthcare stakeholders
- Knowledge of regulatory, reimbursement, and promotional compliance requirements
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with opinion leaders and payers
