Offshore Scaffolding Supervisor

Penspen is urgently looking to hire for Offshore Scaffolding Supervisor for one of our Offshore PMC projects in Abu Dhabi.

Qualification Required

• The candidates should have Diploma in Engineering from an accredited university.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise scaffold erection, modification, inspection, and dismantling activities.
• Review work scopes, drawings, and scaffold designs before execution.
• Coordinate with construction, maintenance, operations, and HSE teams.
• Ensure scaffolding materials and manpower are available as required.
• Ensure all scaffolding activities comply with company HSE procedures and industry standards.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and risk assessments.
• Verify that work permits, JSA (Job Safety Analysis), and lifting plans are in place before work begins.
• Stop unsafe work practices and report hazards immediately.
• Monitor working-at-height activities and ensure proper use of PPE and fall protection systems.
• Direct and supervise scaffolders and lead scaffolders during daily operations.
• Allocate tasks and monitor productivity.
• Ensure personnel are competent and properly trained for assigned activities.
• Maintain discipline and promote safe working behavior.
• Ensure scaffolds are erected according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Conduct inspections before handover and after modifications.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements, offshore regulations, and international standards.
• Maintain scaffold registers, inspection reports, and daily progress reports.
• Coordinate scaffold requirements for critical offshore activities.
• Manage work in confined spaces, elevated locations, and hazardous areas.

Experience Required

• Minimum 10+ years of experience, with at least 5 years significant in Supervisory role.
• Proven experience in offshore platform, topsides or subsea-related projects.
• Preferred experience from PMC/EPC Background.
• Previous ADNOC Offshore Experience is advantage.
