QA/QC

We are currently looking for a Quality Control Manager based in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and coordinate activities, inspect incoming raw materials, finished products, semi-finished products and work-in-progress product to ensure adherence to Jotech Paints quality standards, as well as customer specifications.
2. Ensure that all finished goods are properly inspected and approved prior to release to customers.
3. Monitor testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality.
4. Prepare reports and analyze the quality inspection data.
5. Estimate and analyze the additional cost incurred for the rectification of any discrepancies and provide recommendations to the Production Manager.
6. Coordinate with Production, Purchase, and Store department on raw materials and finished goods availability.
7. Coordinate with the sales team for any specific requirements of customers, required for planning and production.
8. Develop, recommend, and monitor corrective and preventive actions regarding the quality control of the product.
9. Provide hands-on guidance and training when needed, assist the Manager(s) in performance appraisal, addressing and resolving customer complaints.
10. Assist in training and coaching of new staff and recommend training needs in coordination with the HR department.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or any related course.
2. At least 2-3 years’ experience in Quality Control from a PAINT manufacturing company or a similar field equivalent combination of training and experience.
3. Knowledge of quality control standard procedures. Researcher and innovative in chemical fields.

Salary:

AED 3000 – AED 4000 (based on candidate experience)

Ability to commute / relocate:

Ras Al Khaimah – Relocate or must have a reliable source of commute before starting work.
