Chiller Technician (Air‑Cooled Chillers)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on chillers, compressors, motors, pumps, cooling towers, valves, and associated HVAC equipment.
• Carry out periodic inspections, troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and repairs to ensure optimum equipment performance.
• Operate and maintain specialized tools such as manifold gauges, vibration analyzers, refrigerant recovery machines, and pressure washers.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, including mechanical and electrical isolation, LOTO, and HSE standards.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, schematic layouts, and technical manuals.
• Support condition assessments, equipment configuration, and modification of HVAC assets.
• Communicate effectively in spoken and written English with supervisors, colleagues, and customers.

Skills & Qualifications

• High School Certificate, ITI, or Diploma in Mechanical Maintenance or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in chiller repair and cooling plant maintenance.
• Experience in Air‑Cooled Chillers is mandatory.
• Hands‑on experience with YORK and Daikin chillers is highly preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office.
• Airport or District Cooling Plant experience will be an added advantage.
• Valid UAE Driving License will be considered an additional qualification and is preferred.
