Fabric Department Executive / Fabric Incharge

Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and experienced professional for our Fabric Department who can manage fabric sourcing, inspection, inventory control, and coordination with production planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabric inspection (4-Point System knowledge preferred)
- Fabric quality checking & shade matching
- Fabric consumption calculation
- Fabric store inventory management
- Coordination with cutting & production department
- Maintain fabric records & reporting
- Work closely with merchandisers & suppliers
- Ensure timely fabric availability as per production schedule
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years experience in garment factory (Fabric Department)
- Strong knowledge of woven & knit fabrics
- Understanding of fabric GSM, shrinkage, color fastness
- Knowledge of fabric defects identification
- Basic computer knowledge (Excel required)
- Ability to handle bulk production environment
- Good communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience in export garments
- Fabric sourcing knowledge
- Ability to work under pressure
