Job Summary
The Workshop Supervisor will oversee daily workshop operations, coordinate truck maintenance activities, manage technicians, and ensure efficient repairs to minimize equipment downtime.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily workshop operations, maintenance activities, and technician workloads.
Plan and coordinate truck maintenance schedules to ensure timely servicing and minimise downtime.
Monitor repair efficiency and ensure work is completed within the agreed timeframes.
Troubleshoot truck-related technical issues and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution.
Manage technicians and allocate daily tasks based on operational priorities.
Ensure workshop activities comply with safety procedures and quality standards.
Coordinate with customers and internal teams regarding repair progress and service requirements.
Monitor workshop productivity and ensure the effective use of tools, equipment, and resources.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Diploma or B.E./ B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
7–8 years of relevant experience in workshop operations, preferably involving trucks .
Previous experience working with a truck dealership will be an advantage.
Strong knowledge of truck maintenance, repair procedures, and workshop operations.
Good leadership, team management, troubleshooting, and coordination skills
